I have been part of the West Ridge family since January of 2014, I graduated from Front Range Community College and became a certified veterinary technician in the spring of 2012. I love working in all parts of the clinic, whether that means in the back monitoring anesthesia for surgeries, triaging patients, or educating clients in appointments.
I do have a soft spot for exotics (mostly reptiles) and specifically pitty breeds as I also have one of my own.
When not at work I stay plenty busy with my 4 wonderful children and husband.

I have been a veterinary technician at West Ridge for 8 1/2 years. Prior to my veterinary experience, I graduated with my bachelors degree in biological sciences with emphasis of pre-med from Univery of Northern Colorado. At West Ridge, I enjoy educating about routine wellness and taking on urgent cares for all species. I love educating others on rabbits and teaching basic rabbit care as well. As a leader, I help train new technicians and teach them not only new veterinay skills, but our core values and how to "Let Our Family Care For Yours!"

Anne Hooker
She/Her
I’ve been at West Ridge Animal Hospital since June of 2017, Before that, I was working as a Teaching Assistant for first grade and I had been working in the veterinary field in all areas since The 90s. I’ve always been an animal lover all of my life, I can remember trying to save birds that the cat had gotten in elementary school. I have a wonderful husband who allows me to keep my menagerie of animals: horses, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, ducks, chickens, cats, dogs, a bird, and a bearded dragon. My favorite species are the Nubian Goats that I milk and make cheese and lotions from their milk. I have two sons: Zach and Cole and a beautiful daughter-in-law, Brelynn and I just became a Babci (Grandmother) to Briggs who is 6 months old. I enjoy family time, being outside, hiking, working out, and helping people and animals. I enjoy working with our client's and their animals and learning new things every chance I get.

Veterinarian Technician
Cassidy Grose
She/Her
I graduated from Front Range Community College with my veterinary technician degree in 2020 and have worked at WRAH since 2019. You may see me on urgent care, at surgery check in, or floating around the clinic helping run lab work, doing dentals, and caring for hospitalized patients. My favorite things about working at WRAH is getting to learn new things everyday, interacting with our community and clients, and being around people who have the same passion as myself. Outside of work, I love heading to the mountains to go hiking and see wildlife, going to Avalanche games, and spending time with my husband, 2 German Shepherds, and cat.

Surgery Assistant

While I have only worked at WRAH for 1yr, I have always had animals (large and small) as part of my life. Often taking in the sick or injured and many times, nursing them back to health. When I'm not at WRAH, I enjoy spending time with my family.

Tech
Rachael
She/Her
Rachel comes to us from Georgia, though she calls Texas her home. She has a BA in Agricultural Science with a concentration in Pre-Vet Medicine. She has been working as a Veterinary Technician for the last 6 years. She owes her love and compassion for animals to her mother, a human nurse herself who always took in rescue dogs. Rachel and her son live on a homestead with 3 dogs, 1 cat, chickens, turkeys, ducks, and rabbits.

He/Him
I’m from the east coast and moved to Colorado in 2015 for my MS in microbiology. I worked at CSU performing preclinical trials for mycobacterium tuberculosis research before going to veterinary school at The Ohio State Universtiy. I graduated with my DVM in 2021 and am currently waiting to take my licensing exam.

Veterinarian Technician
Breanna N. Silk
She/Her
I grew up all over the place in a military family and was able to take care of many diverse animals. I worked on a ranch that had tigers, bob cats, and many exotics. Then I fostered for dog rescues while attending CSU for a wildlife biology degree. After fostering for so long I realized my true path was to care for animals, so I attended an online college to get my associates degree to become a veterinary technician. I currently have a rescue dog named Dax and a rescue cat named Junipur, who are both patients here at WRAH.

Veterinary Technician Assistant

I've been an outpatient nurse at WRAH since February 2021. My favorite thing about this job is that I learn something new almost every day, and of course the puppy snuggles never hurt! When I'm not at work, I love taking in the Colorado scenery, making glass art with my mom, or relaxing with my three kitties Maisy, Lego, and Rosie.
