Marta has had the joy of working in the veterinary world since 1991. Starting as a Certified Veterinary Technician, becoming a technician leader, then moving into hospital leadership she has welcomed the challenges and learns something new each day. She has worked in all areas of the hospital. Marta is the 2-time past president and past editor of the newsletter for of the Colorado Association of Certified Veterinary Technicians, CACVT and she continues to be involved in the organization. She has graduated from the prestigious leadership class through the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association, CVMA as well as the Veterinary Managers Groups, VMG. Her passion is leadership, team building and strengthening the team through training, core values, culture and fun. She has also completed her Certified Veterinary Practice Management, CVPM.

Marta has known and worked with Dr’s Combs and Hubert for over 30 years. She understands their philosophy and the importance of the community to the hospital.

She has taken on a new adventure and is the owner of K9 Fit Club. An exercise program for both dogs and their humans.

Marta has been blessed with two wonderful kids. Her son Daulton and daughter Jordyn. She loves being outdoors (only in warm weather) and enjoys camping, fishing, walking, horseback riding, classic cars and working around her five acres as well as interior designing and refurbishing furniture. She has 3 dogs, Luna the Chiweenie, Kovu the Doberman, and Eros the Husky. She also has 3 cats, Obie, Sissy VanFlufferstien or Fluff. And Mama kitty. Oh and don’t forget a Ball Python Kaa. Both the two legged and the four-legged kids keep her very bus

Carla joined the West Ridge family in October 2000 and is very proud that she is the longest continuously employed staff member here. She was hired as a receptionist, but has since held the titles of Front Manager, Financial Manager, and Inventory Manager (sometimes all at once). She currently does the bookkeeping at West Ridge. Even though she is squeamish, learning about animals, their medical problems and veterinary treatments are a passion of hers. Customer service is very high on her list of priorities and she is always genuinely happy to help our clients. In fact, now that she works more behind the scenes, she misses seeing all the clients she’s met through the years. Carla lives here in Greeley with her husband, three rambunctious young sons. Whenever possible, she and her family head to the mountains to hike and/or camp. When Carla has free time (what’s that?!) she loves photography, reading, posting to her blog, and spending time with her family.

Alex comes to us with 15 years of executive IT administrative experience. For the last 8 years, Alex has been working with small businesses and non-profit groups to help establish their online presence, IT support, and training,  as well as serving as president of an animal rescue auxiliary group.
