About the Role
West Ridge Animal Hospital in Greeley, Colorado is seeking an experienced Emergency/Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our well-established, privately owned companion animal practice. This is a unique hybrid position blending emergency care with routine outpatient medicine in a supportive, high-performing environment.
We’re looking for a confident and capable veterinarian who is ready to hit the ground running and perform emergency surgeries independently. If you're passionate about high-quality medicine and want to work with a collaborative, community-oriented team, we’d love to meet you.

Full-time or part-time schedule available
Mix of urgent care/emergency shifts and general practice appointments
No overnight shifts
Fully equipped hospital with in-house diagnostics, ultrasound, digital radiography, endoscopy, laser therapy, and advanced surgical suite
Required Experience & Skills
DVM or equivalent degree, licensed (or able to become licensed) in Colorado
Minimum 2–3 years of small animal clinical experience
Proficient in common emergency surgeries, including:
Splenectomy
Enterotomy & Resection & Anastomosis (R&A)
Cystotomy
Laceration repair
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to high standards of care and client service

West Ridge Animal Hospital is an AAHA small and exotic animal hospital located in Greeley Co. It is a larger hospital with the staff of over 50 and 9 doctors. Our hours are Mon - Fri 8am - 9pm Sat. 8am - 5pm and Sun 9am - 1pm. West Ridge prides itself on working as one large team instead of several smaller ones. We are more like a family than co - workers.
