My name is Oren deBotton. I grew up in southern California where I trained in a professional ballet company for 18 years. After leaving the art of ballet, I moved to Colorado to begin my higher education. I completed my Bachelors degree in Integrative Organismal Biology at Colorado State University, and obtained my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences. I performed a small animal rotating internship at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital, after which, I signed on as one of their emergency veterinarians. For the last 2.5 years I have been working as a "hybrid" doctor between general practice and urgent care. My life outside of veterinary medicine continues to include ballet, along with surfing, baking cakes, and traveling. My husband and I have recently been blessed with the birth of our beautiful baby girl, with whom our golden retriever is learning to love in stride!
