Marta W, CVT - Hospital DirectorA Colorado native Marta is the Hospital Director at West Ridge Animal Hospital and has been a Certified Veterinary Technician since 1991. She is the past president of the Colorado Association of Certified Veterinary Technicians and has been a speaker at several educational seminars. Marta has known and worked alongside Dr’s Colin Combs and Rebecca Hubert for most of her years as a technician and manager. She understands their philosophy and is committed to providing the high standards that are required at West Ridge. Marta has 3 dogs; a crazy Weimaraner and 2 Labs, 3 cats, 2 horses, 2 rats and a hamster. She is married, and has the 2 footed versions of kids as well. A son named Daulton and a daughter named Jordyn. They all keep her very busy! In her free time (ha ha) she enjoys spending time and playing with the kids and the zoo of animals she has. She also likes to decorate and re-decorate the house, plays with her horses, and enjoys doing outside activities. (Only when its warm!) |
Carla H - Inventory Manager, Employee Benefits ManagerCarla joined the West Ridge family in October 2000 and is very proud that she is the longest continuously employed staff member here. She was hired as a receptionist, but has since held the titles of Front Manager, Financial Manager, and Inventory Manager (sometimes all at once). Even though she is squeamish, learning about animals, their medical problems and veterinary treatments are a passion of hers. Customer service is very high on her list of priorities and she is always genuinely happy to help our clients. In fact, now that she works more behind the scenes now, she misses seeing all the clients she's met through the years. Carla lives here in Greeley with her husband, three rambunctious young sons, a smooth collie named Jake and Mitsy, a border collie.. Whenever possible, she and her family head to the mountains to hike and/or camp. When Carla has free time (what's that?!) she loves photography, reading, posting to her blog, and spending time with her family. |

Audra graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2005 with a bachelor of science in Organismal Biology and a minor in Psychology. Her main emphasis in the biology department was animal behavior. Her career in the veterinary industry started while she was getting her degree at UNC. She had started as a receptionist at another local veterinary hospital and fell in love with the atmosphere of a vet clinic. Audra lives in a house with her boyfriend and pets: Cryptor, an Italian Greyhound; Bronx and Brooklyn, two boxers; Isis, a Manx cat; and a few feathered friends. |
Victoria S - Animal Care CoordinatorVictoria has been with the Animal Care staff at West Ridge since 2004. She is currently attending CSU and majoring in Psychology. She has a bird, a St. Bernard, a kitten and two Guinea Pigs. She could never work anywhere but West Ridge. |
| Danny G - Maintenance Danny has been a part of the West Ridge family since 2003, and we quickly learned that he can fix anything! If you want something done right, you can count on Danny. No matter how small or how big the situation he is always ready to help out with a smile. He has many children (too many to count), a bull dog, a border collie mix and a Conure. He enjoys coaching wrestling, and spending time with his family. |
| Jeremy H - Webmaster Even though he only officially joined the West Ridge family in 2005, he has been helping Carla and the staff with computer issues since 2000. He currently creates the newsletter, keeps our website updated for us, and helps with technology questions. In his "spare" time, he goes to school full time, works from home via the internet, has a Fantasy Football League, and raises two rambunctious boys; Hayden and Asher. Other than that, he enjoys hiking, camping, politics, computer-fixing and anything stereotypically male (think power tools, etc.). |

Mandy S, CVT My name is Mandy. I have always loved our beloved companion animals, especially dogs. For the past seven years I have been working with the behavior aspect of dogs and am now interested in combining my knowledge with the medical side. I can't wait to understand all the exotics that come to this clinic. Maybe I will even find it in myself to befriend snakes and spiders! |
Aurora L, CVTMy name is Aurora and I am a vet tech here at West Ridge Animal Hospital. I work closely with Dr. Ebner and have been part of the West Ridge team for about two years now. I am married with two wonderful children. I have one dog and one cat which make my family complete. I enjoy being part of West Ridge and all it offers to our wonderful four-legged friends! |
Kate B, CVTMy name is Kate. I have been working as a Certified Veterinary Technician here at West Ridge Animal Hospital for almost two years now, and I love working with our friendly and compassionate staff. I originally grew up in Pennsylvania, but moved to Colorado four years ago to attend Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology, where I became certified as a technician. I did my three month internship here at West Ridge, and loved it so much that I moved here from Denver to work here full time. I currently live in Loveland with my fiancé and our three dogs. One of my dogs I even adopted when she came to West Ridge as a stray and Dr Ebner performed a surgery on her that saved her life! In my free time I enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. I love camping and hiking with my dogs, working out, and watching hockey. I am so grateful that I found an employer that I really appreciate and respect, and through whom I also have met many amazing clients. |

Stacey JI am fun and have a great love for animals, especially exotics. I have many animals; sugar gliders, birds, frogs, turtles, snakes, a cat and a dog. My goal is to be a Veterinary Technician. I love to spend my off time with my husband, 4 year old, 1 year old, and my critters. |
Wendi HMy name is Wendi Herrick and I grew up in Sterling, CO. I moved here to Greeley seventeen years ago. My love of animals started when I was very young. Cats were my animal of choice for many years. We have had four cats at a time most of my life. I was the one who brought home the strays and begged to keep them. I won most of the time. I currently have four cats at home now. I also acquired a German shepherd puppy last summer and she’s a year old now. She’s my buddy and a very fun, energetic addition to my family. She fits in well with my two teenage kids, Shelby and Tanner. Since I’ve gotten her I’ve enjoyed reading and learning more about her breed and about dogs in general. I look forward to learning more and helping other animal lovers take good care of their pets working here at West Ridge Animal Hospital. |

Brittanie SMy name is Brittanie S. I have always lived in Colorado. We moved to Greeley when I was twelve, so I have been in school here since 8th grade and graduated from high school in 2006. I have always grown up wanting to help animals. When I got the amazing opportunity to work at West Ridge Anima Hospital, it felt like my life long dream was coming true. Everyone has such positive attitudes and we are truly here for the passion of helping animals. I plan to go to school and become a veterinary technician and I feel I get to learn from some of the greatest Doctors here! I’m so happy to finally have this opportunity. |
Charlotte CHi I’m Charlotte! I am a transplant to Colorado from Arizona and I am STILL trying to get used to the cold! I have been at West Ridge Animal Hospital since JI have a Bachelors degree in Biology and Environmental Sciences. I plan to go back to school eventually but I am not sure what for. It will definitely be something animal related! I have done a few internships that allowed me to work with many different species of animals and I still cannot decide which my favorite is. I grew up with cats and now have two of my own, Clover and Bootz. I know one day I will be adopting a dog in need, I owe my husband one! |
Ezequiel GHello, my name is Ezequiel. My journey in the veterinary world began when I made the decision to apply the love and respect I have for all living things with the technology needed to help those in need. I enrolled in the Vet Assistant Program at Penn Foster College to obtain that knowledge. I was given the opportunity to begin with my internship at West Ridge Animal Hospital and, after completing it, began working as a Veterinary Assistant here in 2009. I enrolled at Penn Foster College after loving working as an assistant elsewhere and deciding to further enhance my education and knowledge in order to better assist my fellow companions. I am currently working to reach my goal to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. I have been truly blessed to not only at WRAH, but honored to be amongst the most intelligent, loving humans that I have ever met. I have been married 11 years to an amazing woman by the name of Maribel. Together, over the years, we have brought into this world 4 beautiful boys by the names of Amill, Darien, Armani, and Mauricio. Along the way, we also added these new members to our ever growing family: Copper, Euki, and a flock of parrots. Our home is also a 24 hour, 7 days a week safe haven for strays and those needing a temporary home. I was born and raised in Iola, TX on a chicken farm, with vast forest as far as the eyes could see, inhabited by many wildlife and plants. I spent most of my childhood in those mystical woodlands, becoming connected to all the animals and plant life to the point that I began to understand what the animals and trees were saying. Helping all who needed help by bringing them home, I sometimes almost scared my mother to death when I brought home poisonous snakes. For some unknown reason, I never got bit. I admire my mother and father for the trust they bestowed upon me, allowing me to venture into the unknown by myself at the age of 2 years old; that same unknown animal world that would become my passion! Let me be your eyes when you no longer see! Your ears when you no longer hear! Your voice, so that I may speak out your pains and fears, but also the loving words you have to say to those you hold most dear! Let me be the one who holds you when you are in need of holding, and to wipe your tears! To hold your paw or claw and hear your last goodbyes! I shall hold you up high to the sky when you are ready to fly. Let me be… |
Stephanie THi, my name is Stephanie. I’ve lived in Colorado most of my life and since I was a kid I knew I wanted to work with animals. I have a husky named Ace; a german shepherd/Rottweiler mix, Audi; a hamster named Almond; and a ton of fish. I enjoy hiking, camping, snowboarding- really anything Colorado has to offer! |
