  A large part of what makes West Ridge Animal Hospital special is our staff. It starts with the leadership and attention provided by our dedicated doctors.
Doctor Combs

Colin Combs, DVM


Dr. Combs graduated from CSU veterinary school in 1991. After practicing in Golden for 8 years he joined West Ridge in 1999. He has a special interest and skill with birds, exotics and wildlife. He graduated from the first veterinary acupuncture course at CSU and also provides manual therapy (animal chiropractic). He has served on the board of the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association, and the Association of Avian Veterinarians. He is the past director of the Denver Area Pet Loss Support Group and is currently the president of the Weld County Veterinary Medical Association. In the little times he gets free, he likes to pursue Scuba diving, gardening and refinishing woodwork.
   
Doctor Hubert

Rebecca Hubert, DVM


Dr. Hubert moved to Colorado in 1987. She was raised in Illinois and has a bit of a mid-west accent. She has many animal friends at home. Dr. Hubert started at West Ridge in 1999 and worked as a technician while going to veterinary school at CSU. She has a special interest in orthopedics and has completed intensive post graduate courses in fracture management and joint disease. Dr. Hubert is also the Weld County district representative for the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association.

   
Doctor Durbin

Natalie Durbin, DVM


Dr. Durbin graduated from veterinary school at CSU in 1999. She is a native of Colorado Springs. After practicing in California for 2 1/2 years she joined the West Ridge team. She is very dedicated to the human animal bond. Her special interests are equally split between medicine and soft tissue surgery. She feels strongly about continuing education to enable us to enhance and improve patient care.

   
Doctor Ebner

James Ebner , DVM


Dr. Ebner received his bachelors degree in biology from Colorado State University, after graduating he joined a research laboratory at CSU and helped study the devastating feline diseases Feline Leukemia Virus and Feline Immunodiffiency Virus. After 8 years of research Dr. Ebner entered the professional veterinary medical program at CSU. Upon graduation he practiced in Loveland for several years before moving to Florida to practice and during this time he met and eventually married his wife Ana. They returned to Colorado with their two dogs, Lance a Miniature Schnauzer, Kaelan a Giant Schnauzer and their Siamese cat Palida.

Dr. Ebner had completed extensive veterinary acupuncture training at CSU and then graduated from the first veterinary acupuncture course at CSU.

Deb Singleton, DVM


Dr. Deb Singleton is a Colorado native. She graduated from CSU with a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1991. Following an internship at the Denver Zoo, she practiced small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery for sixteen years in Englewood and Arvada. She joined West Ridge Animal Hospital in 2008. Special interests include working with exotics, pediatrics and senior animals. She lives in Windsor with her daughter, sharing their home with their dog C.C., and cats Pumpkin and Smotes. She volunteers at a Windsor elementary school and at the Medical Center of the Rockies in her free time. Other pursuits include reading, skiing, and staff management.

Linda Workman, DVM


Following a career in accounting and raising two children, Dr. Workman pursued her life-long dream and returned to CSU to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. Due to her immense interest in keeping her patients comfortable and mobile, she became certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture at CSU and Canine Rehabilitation from the University of Tennessee. Internal medicine, pain management, physical therapy and geriatrics are her favorite areas of veterinary medicine. From 2004-2006, Dr. Workman was a member of the West Ridge medical team. In the fall of 2006, she left WRAH to become the American Animal Hospital Association’s Veterinary Advisor. Missing her patients and their families, Dr. Workman returned to WRAH in July 2008. She lives in the foothills with her husband, 5 adopted cats, 3 dogs and 3 horses. When her schedule and weather permits, Dr. Workman enjoys bicycling and cross-country skiing near her home.
